Why of course -the international banks and financial institutions. All countries live in debt, albeit to much larger proportions in the West - but to whom? A handful of fat cat CEOs. In this quick outtake, Putin talks about the state of the international economy. The key point to take away is that the US prints fiat money, backed by nothing more than thin air, while the national debt level only gets larger (19 trillion!) The only way this situation can change is through the imposition of a parallel financial system that steers away from the US dollar as the reserve currency. Gaddafi attempted to do this i...

Elasmotherium ("Thin Plate Beast"), also known as the Siberian Unicorn or Steppe Rhinoceros, is an extinct genus of rhinoceros endemic to Eurasia. It lived during the Late Pliocene through the Pleistocene, documented from 2.6 Ma to as late as 29,000 years ago in the Late Pleistocene. In March 2016, the discovery of a skull in Kazakhstan granted a new estimated time period to when Elasmotherium roamed the earth. The prior estimate was 350,000 years ago, now being reduced to 29,000 years ago. Three species are recognised (some say four). The best known, E. sibiricum was the size of a mammoth and is thought to have borne a large, thick horn on its forehead. The main difference from other rhino was the large domed protuberance on the forehead, which was probably a 1.5 meter long and thick horn. Theories about the function of this horn include defense, attracting mates, driving away competitors, sweeping snow from the grass in winter and digging for water and plant roots. Like all rhinoceroses, elasmotheres were herbivorous. Elasmotherium was a grazer is that of tooth wear and morphology. This animal specialized in feeding on grass and underground parts of plants, coastal rivers and lakes, such as highly starchy rhizomes of sedges, cattail and reed. Unlike any others, its high-crowned molars were ever-growing. Its legs were longer than those of other rhinos and were adapted for galloping, giving it a horse-like gait. Elasmotherium was the largest member of the family of rhinos that lived from the Pliocene to Pleistocene epochs. It was 6 metres long, 2.5 metres in height and weigh up to 5 tons. E. caucasicum was the largest and reached at least 5 m (16 ft) in body length with an estimated mass of 3.6–4.5 tonnes (4–5 short tons), based on isolated molars that significantly exceed those known from the Siberian species. Elasmotherium legs are sufficiently like those of the White Rhino to hypothesize a similar gait even though Elasmotherium weighed 4.5-5 ton. Various theories of Elasmothere morphology, nutrition and habits have been the cause of wide variation in reconstruction. Some show the beast trotting like a horse with a horn; others hunched over with head to the ground, like a bison, and still others immersed in swamps like a hippopotamus. The largest of all the prehistoric rhinoceroses of the Pleistocene epoch, Elasmotherium was a truly massive piece of megafauna, and all the more imposing thanks to its thick, shaggy coat of fur (this mammal was closely related to Coelodonta, also known as the "woolly rhino") and the huge horn on the end of its snout. This horn, which was made of keratin (the same protein as human hair), may have reached five or six feet in length—and if Elasmotherium survived into historical times, it's possible that early humans glimpsing this huge, strange beast may have been inspired to create the legend of the unicorn. Legends and names referring to a special type of unicorn or mysterious beast with one massive horn are scattered across the former range of Elasmotherium from China to Eastern Europe. They have been noted there since the first known literature of the Middle Ages. In the northeast of the range, in 1866 Vasily Radlov reported a legend among the Yakuts of Siberia of a "huge black bull" killed by spear, which had "a single horn" so large that it required a sledge for transportation. In 1878, A. F. Brandt suggested the beast was an Elasmotherium.

W/S Outside of SPIEF SOT, Dr. Armen Sarkissian, Founding President of Eurasia House: "Just making decisions on the highest level, unfortunately, will not be enough to have a success. W/S People moving through SPIEF SOT, Dr. Armen Sarkissian, Founding President of Eurasia House: "The good news is that nuclear power today, than 20-30 years ago, is much safer, much greener. But if we look at the historic disasters connected with nuclear, all of them are related to human error." W/S Exhibitions at SPIEF SCRIPT Russia: Eurasia must start with 'sound economic base', Sarkissian Dr. Armen Sarkissian, founding President of Eurasia House and former Armenian prime minister commented on the possibility of a Eurasian political entity on the sidelines of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Saturday. Currently, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus are the only member countries of the Eurasian Union, a free trade bloc pioneered by Russia. Sarkissian spoke of the importance of Eurasia, saying: "I do believe in Eurasia, I do believe in common roots of people living in this area. I believe in importance for the global development of Eurasia." Sarkissian spoke on the commonalities of the people in the region, saying: "I think the new Eurasia could start not only as a beautiful idea, not only as a recognition of historic or cultural values, or referring to Gumilyov, or other philosophers, but also it can start from a sound economic basis." Asked what it would take for Eurasia to be successful, Sarkissian opined: "Just making decisions on the highest level, unfortunately, won't be enough to have a success. You have to create sound institutions. And all the players, big or small, have to make a real contribution. Both in finances, people and time." Pushing for green energy, Sarkissian outlined his energy vision for Eurasia. He said: "And with the Shell gas and captured oil, the future for me is on new technologies. I think we should focus on green technologies, new technologies that will extract energy as much as possible, but with less damage to our environment." Sarkissian also spoke highly of nuclear energy, saying: "The good news is that nuclear power today, than 20-30 years ago, is much safer, much greener. Definitely, if nothing happens, I mean a disaster, it's absolutely clean energy. The only fear is if you have a disaster. But if we look at the historic disasters connected with nuclear, all of them are related to human error."

Eurasia Group president Ian Bremmer, author of "Us vs. Them: The Failure of Globalism," explains how the American working and middle classes haven't seen improved standards of living over the past 40 years. This has resulted in the rise in anti-establishment figures like Trump and Bernie Sanders—mirroring the populist wave in Europe. Business Insider tells you all you need to know about business, finance, tech, science, retail, and more. We have taken hundreds and hundreds of millions of people out of poverty around the world over the course of the past decades. The rise of China has been extraordinary, 1.4 billion people we've never seen anything like it. That growth has occurred on the back of open borders and free trade, no question. But you have lost a lot of opportunities in the West. You have created much greater structural inequality and it's not just about the economy, but the economy's a big piece of it. If you are a member of the working or middle class in the United States your life has not improved in the last 40 years, you feel like the American dream no longer applies to you while the Chinese feel like the Chinese dream that's something that they can be a part of. That obviously undermines the notion of liberal democracy. If the majority of Americans don't think they're capitalists 'cause they don't have capital then they're not gonna support a capitalist system and they're particularly not gonna support it if they think that the capitalists on top aren't doing anything for them. If their infrastructure isn't being invested into, if their schools aren't being invested into, if their policing isn't being invested into, if their healthcare is worse than it used to be, if we're not responding to a massive opioid crisis then they're not going to support these governments. And by the way, we're saying this at a time when the US economy is growing at a strong clip. We're saying this at a time when the IMF has just upgraded their expectations for global growth in 2018 and 2019 to 3.9%, the best the world economy has done since before the financial crisis. If that's the case now, what's gonna happen in the next recession? What's gonna happen suddenly when we don't have a huge tax plan that benefits everyone and we're spending like crazy and increasing the deficit. What's gonna happen suddenly when times get tighter and when the corporations aren't hitting the profitability that they are right now. I mean clearly this is a situation that is going to get worse. We elected Trump in the United States. So people think it was an illegitimate election but there's no question he got the Republican nomination over 16 other candidates and Ted Cruz was probably number two. Bernie Sanders was clearly enormously popular on the Democratic side. Whoever won the US election, we've not seen an election like this with this kind of anti-establishment sentiment in certainly, not as long as I've been alive, and in Europe the vote for Brexit, in Germany, the support for the Alternatives For Deutschland party for the first time a nationalist party in the German parliament since Word War II. Given their history that's extraordinary. In Italy, the Five Star movement, the Northern League winning from the far left and the far right, this is obviously not an accident.

The capital of Georgia is Tblisi, a wonderful blend of old and new architecture. But where is Georgia? Some say it’s in Asia, but most consider it a part of Europe. More information about the video content bellow: 1. Spoken Georgian (kartvelian) is like no other language you are likely to hear. It belongs to its own ancient linguistic group unlike any other language spoken outside the region. It includes rare sounds that many visitors may never have heard before. Georgian has its own 33-letter alphabet thought to be based on the sort of Aramaic spoken in the time of Jesus. To the untutored eye, the letters look very much alike. But even without understanding it, Georgian writing is beautiful, a myriad of theatrical swirls and flourishes. 2. Take a look at a map and you'll find the former Soviet republic 1,000km east of the Bosphorus, marooned in Asia. One definition of Europe marks the Caucasus Mountains as its border, putting Georgia firmly in Asia. Other definitions place the whole Caucasus region, including Georgia, in Europe which is where most Georgians feel it belongs. 3. Georgia isn't called Georgia by Georgians. They call their country Sakartvelo. One theory suggests that the origins of the country's name come from the Middle Ages when Christian crusaders swept through the region on their way to the Holy Land. At that time, it was part of the Persian Empire and the people here were known as "Gurj". They were also devotees of St George. 4. The little streets of Tbilisi makes you forget about Paris or Venice! Cute little alleys and streets all over the city. It definitely has its charm and you could almost say Tbilisi is the Paris of Eurasia. 5. Ever heard of Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili? Born in Gori, he became one of the most important rulers in the history of mankind. After becoming the leader of the Soviet Union, he ordered the imprisonment and execution of millions, starved Ukrainians to submission, lead his country to victory in WW2 and brought most of eastern Europe under the control of Moscow. You may know him by his Russian name: Joseph Stalin. 6. Georgia contains 2 de facto independent regions, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which gained limited international recognition after the 2008 Russo-Georgian War. Georgia and a major part of the international community consider the regions to be part of Georgia's sovereign territory under Russian military occupation. 7. Georgia launched a large-scale military operation against South Ossetia during the night of 7–8 August 2008 to "restore constitutional order" in the region. 11,000 soldiers took part in the general Georgian offensive. Russia officially sent troops across the border, claiming to be defending both peacekeepers and South Ossetian civilians. In 5 days of fighting, the Russian forces pushed back Georgian troops and largely destroyed Georgia’s military infrastructure. Russia recognised Abkhazia and South Ossetia on 26 August 2008. In response, the Georgian government cut diplomatic relations with Russia. They say that if you want to understand the values of a particular society - take a look at it's architecture and buildings. Which ones stand out as the most glamorous in today's world? Why of course -the international banks and financial institutions. All countries live in debt, albeit to much larger proportions in the West - but to whom? A handful of fat cat CEOs. In this quick outtake, Putin talks about the state of the international economy. The key point to take away is that the US prints fiat money, backed by nothing more than thin air, while the national debt level only gets larger (19 trillion!) The only way this situation can change is through the imposition of a parallel financial system that steers away from the US dollar as the reserve currency. Gaddafi attempted to do this in his time, through the use of the gold backed dinar. Russia and China are the only ones left that at time times allude to the possibility of a world in which the dollar is no longer the reserve currency. In theory, such a system would dismantle the 500 year old Rothschild Empire. The empire that continually sponsors both sides of wars in order to keep the sheeple occupied. Sigh. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Comments have been disabled due to sheer amount of obnoxious, factually misleading and personally abusive trolls. He came to power by uniting many of the nomadic tribes of Northeast Asia. After founding the Empire and being proclaimed "Genghis Khan", he started the Mongol invasions that conquered most of Eurasia. Campaigns initiated in his lifetime include those against the Qara Khitai, Caucasus, and Khwarazmian, Western Xia and Jin dynasties. These campaigns were often accompanied by wholesale massacres of the civilian populations – especially in the Khwarazmian and Western Xia controlled lands. By the end of his life, the Mongol Empire occupied a substantial portion of Central Asia and China. Before Genghis Khan died, he assigned Ögedei Khan as his successor and split his empire into khanates among his sons and grandsons. He died in 1227 after defeating the Western Xia. He was buried in an unmarked grave somewhere in Mongolia. His descendants extended the Mongol Empire across most of Eurasia by conquering or creating vassal states in all of modern-day China, Korea, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and substantial portions of modern Eastern Europe, Russia, and Southwest Asia. Many of these invasions repeated the earlier large-scale slaughters of local populations. As a result, Genghis Khan and his empire have a fearsome reputation in local histories. Beyond his military accomplishments, Genghis Khan also advanced the Mongol Empire in other ways. He decreed the adoption of the Uyghur script as the Mongol Empire's writing system. He also practiced meritocracy and encouraged religious tolerance in the Mongol Empire while unifying the nomadic tribes of Northeast Asia. Present-day Mongolians regard him as the founding father of Mongolia. Although known for the brutality of his campaigns and considered by many to have been a genocidal ruler, Genghis Khan is also credited with bringing the Silk Road under one cohesive political environment. This brought communication and trade from Northeast Asia into Muslim Southwest Asia and Christian Europe, thus expanding the horizons of all three cultural areas. Main article: Mongol military tactics and organization Reenactment of Mongol battle Genghis Khan put absolute trust in his generals, such as Muqali, Jebe and Subutai, and regarded them as close advisors, often extending them the same privileges and trust normally reserved for close family members. He allowed them to make decisions on their own when they embarked on campaigns far from the Mongol Empire capital Karakorum. Muqali, a trusted lieutenant, was given command of the Mongol forces against the Jin dynasty while Genghis Khan was fighting in Central Asia, and Subutai and Jebe were allowed to pursue the Great Raid into the Caucasus and Kievan Rus', an idea they had presented to the Khagan on their own initiative. While granting his generals a great deal of autonomy in making command decisions, Genghis Khan also expected unwavering loyalty from them. The Mongol military was also successful in siege warfare, cutting off resources for cities and towns by diverting certain rivers, taking enemy prisoners and driving them in front of the army, and adopting new ideas, techniques and tools from the people they conquered, particularly in employing Muslim and Chinese siege engines and engineers to aid the Mongol cavalry in capturing cities. Another standard tactic of the Mongol military was the commonly practiced feigned retreat to break enemy formations and to lure small enemy groups away from the larger group and defended position for ambush and counterattack. Another important aspect of the military organization of Genghis Khan was the communications and supply route or Yam, adapted from previous Chinese models. Genghis Khan dedicated special attention to this in order to speed up the gathering of military intelligence and official communications. To this end, Yam waystations were established all over the empire. In addition to most of the Mongol nobility up to the 20th century, the Mughal emperor Babur's mother was a descendant. Timur (also known as Tamerlane), the 14th century military leader, and many other nobilities of central Asian countries claimed descent from Genghis Khan. During the Soviet purge most of the Mongol nobility in Mongolia were purged.
